Winter Haul Out Special
We have offered a discount for haul outs during the winter season for years and we are keeping up the tradition. The normal price for haul out, pressure washing and blocking is $6.50 / foot but during the months of January and February the price is $4.50 /foot; that's a savings of $2 / foot. Like always, we offer an excellent discount on bottom paint, so the "savings" you may hope to experience by ordering or picking your paint up at a discount marine store may not prove to be worth your valuable time. As always, there is some fine print with every offer but, the only fine print here is that this discount applies to "turn key" haul, wash and paint jobs where Deaton's provides the labor and materials to complete the project. Make sure you call and get your haul out scheduled to avoid missing this opportunity.
Mast / Rigging Inspections
To sweeten up the haul out deal, we are offering a complimentary rigging inspection while your vessel is at the yard for bottom painting. Just mention this offer and we will gladly take a look from top to bottom and provide you with a verbal outline of the observations.
New Nautical Coatings and Sea Hawk Antifouling Paint
More than ten years ago, Deaton Yachts was approached by an up and coming paint company named New Nautical Coatings; their goal was to provide an antifouling paint that out performed the products that were currently available to the boating public. For whatever reason, their introduction into the multi-billion dollar industry was slow even though their product was all that they had promised. I am now pleased to report that New Nautical Coatings has worked hard and have made great progress over the last 12 months with two new distributors being signed on in our area. As distribution continues to improve, Deaton Yacht Service will be working to incorporate Sea Hawk into our line up of antifouling paints. Saturday Morning Haulouts
If you've been searching for an alternative to having a diver clean the bottom of your boat and replace your zinc anodes between haulouts, then I invite you to take advantage of our Saturday morning haulout special. We limit the number of haulouts to two per Saturday morning which provides 1.5 hours for you to clean the bottom and replace your zincs; you can do all the service yourself or we will be glad to provide the labor to get the job done. You just need to schedule in advance.
